A 10ft-long Mako shark has been discovered washed up on Barmouth Beach beach in north Wales. The shark was found by fisherman on Friday and its cause of death is unknown.  Mako’s are generally found in tropical waters.

The photo above was taken by Gwion Leggett who had some good news on his FB page I overheard local kids yesterday talking about becoming Marine Biologists.”  So the death of an awesome shark has sparked the interests of some young minds, possibly helping sharks in the future.
