On August 23rd a group of divers from Los Angeles Underwater Explorer (LAUE) were on their way to continue cleaning up the wreck of the fishing vessel The Infidel. The two year project had made some major headway, and the group was documenting all the new marine life on the wreck as they continued to clean up the old fishing nets.
During the dive the group had 16 to 20 foremen swim by to check out their progress…including a Great White. The shark swam around the divers for about 4 minutes as they came up from 150 ft to the 110 ft mark. At the end of the video, the caption states that the shark was not aggressive and she swam very close to the group… maybe a little too close at times.
