A Cape Cod beach has been closed after a paddleboarder was hit by a great white shark. Cleveland Bigelow III was standing on the board around 30 yards off Marconi Beach in Wellfleet August 23 when the shark hit. A fisherman was attempting to unhook a small shark he caught, when it bit his foot. The unidentified angler was on the shore of Menauhant Beach in East Falmouth, Massachusetts August 3 when he reeled in the shark. Once he began to remove the hook, the shark bit his right foot. Great White Sharks Filmed Eating a Whale in MA

Several great white sharks have been filmed eating a whale off the coast of Massachusetts. Frank Duggan filmed the sharks on August 4th in Cape Cod Bay.  The Captain of the boat Outer Limits II speculated that one of the sharks was around 16 feet long. 12ft white shark found on beach

A 12-foot dead great white shark was found on a beach in Cape Cod on Saturday. It is unknown if the male shark died in the water and then washed onshore or if it died after beaching itself. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy assisted Dr. Greg Skomal with a necopsy, which unfortunately, did not reveal the cause of death. This is the third white shark found on the beach this year. I posted this yesterday on the Tracking sharks Facebook page, which if you haven’t liked it yet, be sure to do so ;0), and thought I would share it on the site. The 14-foot shark washed up on Whitecrest Beach in Wellfleet,Massachusetts on Sunday. A great white shark has been filmed half breaching while chasing a grey seal in Cape Cod Massachusetts. Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries was working with Atlantic White Shark Conservancy when he filmed the video on August 17.
