White shark bumps tiny fishing boat

Tim Watson and his buddy Allan de Sylva got quite a fright when a great white swam beside their tiny fishing boat.
The two fishermen were out in Newcastle at Swansea Australia on Sunday when the shark paid them a visit.
The shark, estimated to be 16ft, bumped the small aluminum boat with its fin giving a scare to its occupants.
Tim Watson, told the Newcastle Herald. “It felt like getting trapped in a room with an angry pit bull.”

“It wouldn’t leave us alone. You almost wanted to stop and admire it but it was being pretty aggressive. It was as big as a wagon car – that’s what it felt like looking at it.”

Thankfully Mr. Watson and his friend were smart and left the area.
Just last week Australian authorities were looking for some fisherman who attempted to have a White Shark breach the water.
The White Shark is a protected species in Australia and harassing them can carry up to a $10,000.00 fine.
