Woman dies from shark bite in Africa

A 35-year-old woman has dies after a shark bit her.

The woman was fishing in the shallow waters of Inhambane Bay in the city Southern Mozambique in South East Africa.

Apparently the woman was a gathering shrimp with companions when she was bitten on the buttocks.

A fisherman lost both his arms to a shark near the same area and a shark kill team has been assembled in an attempt to find the shark.

I will update the article if and when more info becomes available.

The approximate location has been marked on the 2015 shark attack bites tracking map.

A separate fisherman, Alberto Rafael lost an arm to a shark, in early October. Two days prior to the bite, a tourist boat was reported as being bitten by a shark.
