10 ft 624 lbs Bull shark caught in 10 ft of water

Captain Mark “the Shark” Quartiano anonymous client caught the 10 foot 624 pound shark “…in 10 feet of water off the Miami Beach hotels!!!” According to an article by Gaynce C. Young with Outdoor Life. According to the captain the sharks stomach contents contained “1/2 a tarpon, 3 jack crevalles, 1 hawksbill turtle, and 1 permit.” Mr. Young also stated “The shark’s gigantic size put it close to the all-tackle world record of 697 pounds 12 ounces. That monster was taken off the coast of Kenya back in March 2001.”
