Thirty shark attacks have been reported in the United States 2 fatal (California and Maine), with 20 occurring in Florida (5 provoked), 2 in Hawaii (0 provoked,0 fatal, 0 no injury), 2 in North Carolina (0 provoked, 0 fatal, o no injury) and 2 in California (1 fatal).
Nineteen shark attack bites have been reported in Australia, 7 were fatal.
