Great White Shark Knocks Man Off His Boat and Into The Water

A great white shark knocked a man off his surf ski and into the water in South Africa on Saturday. Grant Wardell was fishing with his brother around 1300 yards off shore at Westbrook Beach when the incident occurred. The two were dragging live bait behind the surf skis. A snorkeler was bitten by a tiger shark in Brazil on Monday. Marcio de Castro Palma da Silva was diving the protected marine reserve off Brazil’s northeastern coast of Fernando de Noronha at a beach called Baia do Sueste when he was bitten. The tiger shark severed the 32-year-old’s right arm near the elbow. Mr. Silva’s wife began crying for help in Portuguese. Man Killed by Shark Near Aruba

A Venezuelan man has been killed by a shark near the coast of Aruba. Adrian Esteban Rafael was with a group of six others traveling from Bonaire to sell liquor in Aruba. During their journey the boat sank and two of the men drowned. The remaining five men clung to floating debris. The Dutch Coast Guard arrived and began hoisting the men from the water. Richard Pinder was bitten by a shark near the Grand Bahamas December 11. The 26-year-old was reportedly diving for lobster 67 nautical miles southwest of Andros Island when the incident occurred. The Bahamian suffered serious injuries when he was bitten on his left hand, stomach, right calf and thigh. He suffered torn tendons in his hand and bone fractures.
