Robert Konrad was fighting with his catch off Palm Beach Florida when he was pulled overboard.
Unfortunately his 36-foot boat was on auto pilot and kept on cruising.
The former Miami Dolphins football player spent the next 12 hours swimming back to shore.
Around 4:40 am and wearing only his underwear he finally made landfall and flagged down a cop.
The police were able to stop a second planned search by the coast Guard, who had been alerted to his disappearance by friends.
He was treated for hypothermia but best off all no shark bites.
He was in the water for 10-12 hours at night and wasn’t injured by any type of shark.
