Shark bite at Sullivan’s Island

A man was bitten by a shark off Sullivan’s Island South Carolina.

According to a witness, the 30-year old was in waist deep water when a shark bit his foot and drug him through the water.

The victim fought back by poking the sharks eyes causing the estimated six-foot shark to let go.

The man suffered a large laceration to the which was bandaged by the Sullivan’s Island Fire Department.

He was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
