A teen was bitten by a shark in Destin, Florida on April 2. Caitlyn Taylor was swimming with friends in the Gulf of Mexico near 1040 Highway 98. According to witness, the 17-year-old was on the second sandbar around 3:00 p.m. when a five-foot long (1.5m) shark swam past Taylor’s sister and brushed her leg. Eagle eyed Doug West was watching the ocean from his balcony in Destin, Florida when he saw what looked like a shark swimming in the crystal clear water below. A Dolphin died from shark bite wounds near Destin Florida. Joe Locklar was working on his house when he spotted six sharks chasing and elderly dolphin toward his pear in Choctawhatchee Bay Florida.
