6ft shark knocks woman out of canoe in CA

A six foot shark knocked a woman out of her outrigger canoe of the coast of California.

She was about three miles north of Santa Barbara Harbor when the incident occurred.

The blue-gray colored shark bit her canoe and knocker her into the water.

She was able to climb back into the boat and paddle back to the shore.

The shark may have been test biting the canoe to see if it was a meal, when it realized it was not it left.

Ryan Howell was knocked out his kayak and a surfer bitten on the knee by a shark near Vanderberg AFB,  north of where the women was knocked out of the canoe.
