Massive 14ft Hammerhead Shark Filmed

A massive great hammerhead shark has been filmed in the Bahamas.

The 14-foot shark was swimming in the shallow waters of Montagu on June 24, 2016. According to the Bahamas National Trust, the shark may have been drawn to the bay by the smell of fillet fish and conch.

Unfortunately, the docile shark may have been shot or speared in an effort to drive it away from the beach.  There have been conflicting reports as to who attempted to “scare” the shark away.  It is also unknown if the shark was killed or simply swam away.
